BioBalance 5-HTP 150mg (5-Hydroxy-L-Tryptophan) is an extract from the Griffonia simplicifolia seed, a naturally occurring amino acid that is the precursor in the biosynthesis of the neurotransmitters serotonin and melatonin. Serotonin and melatonin have various functions including regulation and support of appetite, mood and sleep.

Griffonia simplicifolia is a woody climbing shrub native to West Africa and Central Africa. It grows to about 3 m, and bears greenish flowers. The plant's black seeds are rich in the active ingredient 5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP).

Directions

Adults: Take 1–2 capsules daily (best before bed), or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Precautions
